TheRealPlace.net TheRealPlace is a unique, online gaming community created to bring together gamers and allow them to compete against each other in one-on-one matches and tournaments. Members can create and join as many leagues as they want and interact with other members using the custom messaging system created for this site. Many new features are being added every day to this dynamic site. This site is an upgrade from a previous version that was built on a canned blog script that did not fit the needs of the site.(PHP, MySQL, DHTML, CSS, IMAP, JavaScript, E-Commerce, Photoshop) View Slide Show |

Fone2Web.net Fone2web is a unique new site focused on providing camera-phone owners with a quick and easy way to share their photos, from anywhere. Members can email their photos directly to there Fone2Web albums right from their cell phones. For more control, the subject of the email is used as the photo's title and the body of the email is used as its description. Unlike other sites that offer similar functionality, every member is assigned a unique email address for each album so they can organize their photos into albums right when they send them. Members can also password protect albums if they want to restrict who can see them. The albums can also be customized by selected one of numerous skins to control the album layout as well as selecting the fonts and colors for their albums. The site admins have a secured area where they can control all aspects of the site from email accounts, member accounts and subscriptions.(PHP, MySQL, DHTML, CSS, IMAP, JavaScript, E-Commerce, Photoshop, Google AdSense) View Slide Show |

Harazors - Appointment Scheduler For this project, we were hired by SouthLakeWeb.biz to create an appointment scheduler for a new website they were working on for a hair salon in Florida. We created a user interface for visitors to schedule an appointment and to review their appointments. The main part of the project was the admin interface which allows the stylists to review and approve their work schedule. Stylists can enter their work hours, any blackout hours and also the types of service they can provide.(PHP, MySQL, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop) View Slide Show |

DiamondDawgs13.com This site is a secured, members-only site used to run a 13 run baseball pool. Each player is assigned a team each week and if that team scores 13 runs in a single game, they win for that week. From the site, the players can view their teams for the entire season and the team's schedule as well as the results for the games already played. Many reports are available including the daily games, past winners, complete player/team grids, custom message boards as well as every team's schedule. We also added another report called 'Close but no Cigar' that displays any player/team that scored 12 or 14+ runs, just missing a win. The site also has a secured admin section that allows the site admins to manage and track the players and scores.(PHP, MySQL, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop, PDF, Screen Scraping Data Collection, cron) View Slide Show |

FFD Map Books I was hired to update sections of the Fairport Fire Department Map Books. These books are used to detail the fire district and key areas within it. I have created two separate updates, the first included corrections for the original release(done by a different developer) as well as detailed maps for all apartments complexes in the district. The second release was much larger and included a number of new streets and maps for all schools in the district.(Microsoft Visio, Photoshop) View Slide Show |

Custom Date Picker Control I created this web control originally using ASP and moved it to PHP. This control is mostly client side JavaScript that can be added to any web page usually attached to a text box for setting the date for form input. The control also has custom jump to links that allow the users to easily jump to specific dates like Today or Next Friday. This control is currently being used on my To-Do App as well as a number of client applications.(PHP, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript) View Slide Show |

DSGolfLeague.com This site was designed initially to replace an Excel spreadsheet that was emailed to each player of the golf league to share their scores. I started this site in 2003 to make this easier and to also provide more details and reports to help the players improve their game. Besides tracking player scores, the site includes color-coded score cards, course information, dynamic charts as well as other statistical information. Note, this league has recently disolved and the site taken down.(ASP, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server, ADO, Photoshop) View Slide Show |

FFD Knowlwdge Base I started this web site once I became more involved with the day to day operations of the Fairport Fire Department. I saw how different individuals would spend a lot of time developing training and support materials that we know someone has already done in the past. But due to the rotation of leadership, many of these materials were lost and the new person responsible for developing a training program had to start from scratch again. This site will be a central location to store information we develop, so that people can not only use it to develop future training programs, but others can use it to review between planned training programs. The site include a photo archive, links to other online resources and will be the future home of PowerPoint programs and any Pre-plans we develop for our district. We have some members that like to work on their projects at home and have already found the site helpful because they can access this information from home or at work. Besides this work, I am also responsible for creating and maintaining many office documents used to track all aspects of our work. These include per-call attendance, yearly attendance, equipment maintenance and in depth PowerPoint training presentations to name a few. NOTE: has been moved from ASP/SQL Server to PHP/MySQL. (PHP, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, Photoshop, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF) View Slide Show |

To-Do Application I created this application because I am always working on multiple projects at the same time. Besides replacing multiple small pads with to-do lists on them, these lists are now available to me online, all the time, from anywhere. The application is password protected when online, but if local no password is needed. The DHTML treeview is very JavaScript intensive and is rendered from a MySQL database. Hidden IFrames are used to retrieve data so the main pages are never reloaded. I have also created some reports so that I can printout some lists as needed. Note, this app was originally writen in ASP/SQL Server and moved to PHP/MySQL.(PHP, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, Photoshop) View Slide Show |

Consumer Reference Bureau I was responsible for the initial design and development of this site. The site was then turned over to another developer to finish and maintain the site. The main focus of the site is to be a consumer advocate, similar to the Better Business Bureau, but on a more personal level. This site has many features including a complete order processing function that takes credit card payments online for membership subscriptions, online invoices and renewals. Members can also subscribe to additional features such as online coupons as well as additional web space for companies without web sites. The site also allows consumers to research and review companies. Feedback can be left for companies which is used to develop the companies rating. Consumers can also take part in the online polls and forums. (ASP, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server, ADO, Photoshop) View Slide Show |

I am finishing up the latest release of the Fairport Fire Deparment Map Book which includes adding the schools, new roads and a few larger complexes.
